The 2024 season proved to be a great year for cross country (XC) flying in the Wessex region. A total of 207 flights were entered by 27 pilots across 76 different days. Multiple site records were broken: Sean Staines flew 60.6 km from Friar Waddon and 108.9 km from Bell; Richie Taylor, flying alongside Adrian Coombe and Neil Russell, flew 83.1 km from White Horse. Triangle records were claimed by Mark Russell at Hambledon, visiting pilot James Lloyd at Bell and Colin Davies at Marleycombe. The full 2024 results are below.
