Report from Whitehorse
Just a sneaking suspicion it might be thermic at Whitehorse despite the SE reading at Portland.
On launch it was SSE, probably due to the consistent thermals coming through. In the air definitely the drift was SE. Bit gusty at times but upwards I went over 400mts ATO, joined by Martin and as I left Paul & Jason arrived.

Report from Bell Hill
A Thermic day allowing good height and some bold XCs. Marred only by the arrival of Air Ambulance keeping us grounded for over 2 hours. Still flyable after 1800hrs

Report from Portland-West
An early start 0800 and 2 already in the air, all the way from Austria.
So up for 45mins then landed as wind dropped, so T.O. on Spur when the wind decided to play ball again.
Some more aviation followed by coffee and cake at the Heights then onto Ringstead for some fun.

Report from Ringstead
Looked too overdeveloped for Bell, so off to the Coast, which proved thermic on the ridge and the cliffs. At one point 4 enjoying the sea views and the Sigma 10s finding 800' ATO.

Report from Bell Hill
Bell very lifty everywhere today and for quite a period of time. Sean XC again and Robin determined to go over the back. A mixture of students , red ribbons sky gods and others.
It did become "Booming" looked like a CuNim forming in the distance behind. Moving away in front it was not difficult to go up or stay up. I and several others decided best to get on the ground, Grant landed 10k in front.

Report from Whitesheet
The ever hopefuls testing the air at Whitesheet aka Brownsheet.
Thermals taking us up to 2500' amsl and beyond ( for some).
It was not to be an XC day as the clouds behind and beyond did not look too friendly.

Report from Ringstead
Lively thermals on the ridge allowing height gain for the cliffs, several phases during the day with it eventually easing.
Visitors from Germany, Hereford and elsewhere.
I finally found the spin point on my Sigma10 in a very tight fiesta thermal, I pulled it round too hard and luckily came out safely.
