Report from Whitehorse

Well that was unexpected if forecasts were to be believed. As I walked the track with Rod we could see 2 wings maintaining. So a little haste to our pace.
Eminently flyable with a tad of E in the direction. As the day progressed more Pilots arrived and took to the air, I counted 14 in total so the Telegram messages worked. The wind gradually came round to S with some peachy thermals to play in, several Whoops and Whayhays were heard. I decided to use my height to land back at the car and save myself a trudge along a litter strewn track.A good day at the Horse for all.

Report from Ringstead

An early start, arrived to see Grant and Robin already on the cliffs. I launched 0845 and it was 14-18mph SSW.
Had 2 aborted attempts at transition, 3rd approach much the same but more lift. Cruised down with Angus to Worbarrow and spotted Grant & Robin on their way back from Kimmeridge. It was worth the effort. After landing it started to spit & spot with rain. All landed safely.

Report from Ringstead

A call from Seb to say he and Dale were at 1100' and making progress on the Coast Run from Ringstead.
I looked at Wind Data and it was showing 20mph+. As it was early evening I took a chance and found 6 others on T.O.
I launched and just squeaked on to the cliffs and went up over White Nothe to 1100' amsl and saw Seb on his way back from St.A,s, with him whooping and hollering "Its butter smooth, I am heading to Bowleaze". I followed as far as Osmington Mills into what I found to be a strong westerly, so headed back and landed to find others playing on the ridge.
On the way I spotted dale coming in after relaunching at Lulworth.Find attached links of their flight

Report from Ringstead

The question was, "Would it be flyable"? The answer, "Yes, eminently so"! It did in all honesty start a little scratchy for some on the cliffs, although there were thermals to play amongst on the ridge. Then, lovely jubbly, it was round the White Nothe for a few skittish runs to Bats Head & back.
Then it appeared to be flyable all the way to Lulworth and congratulations to Terry W & Dale A for popping that cherry.
Seb & Sean were late comers and just kept going all the way to Durlston Head, lucky boys had there beloveds to play retrieve. It was a good day with some gaining good height as the wind increased. All landed safe and well.

Report from Ringstead

Ringstead No apologies for more photos of Ringers when flyable. Different wings, different Pilots.
One visitor from Switzerland and several locals. One in the hedge and others finding good height in the increasing wind.
It went as forecast.

Report from Ringstead

Ringers never fails to surprise and even in a strong WSW allowed lots of flying and aerial acrobatics for the chosen ones.
I arrived before 0900hrs to find a tandem and 2 liner at height on the cliffs and a red ribbon cruising the ridge and he decided to head home to appease the beloved..
It became quite strong and I waited for over an hour for a slight lull to get off.
Soon joined by several more. Others decided to not fly. It was smooth on the cliffs and fun to watch the excitement.
