Report from Ringstead

   
Despite the forecast, I spotted a wing low over the Horse. So decided to head to Ringstead.
Where I spied Alan & son Tom on the Nothe 2 others launched and went to the beach.
I played around on the ridge as it improved headed over and there was good lift.
It improved to the extent that Alean headed east and myself and James followed, Lulworth was far enough for me and it was slow on the way back. So all in all a good time in the air.

Another good day at Ringers the Coast Run was achievable and 2 Tandems were at work The Grupa 303 made an appearance as did a few low airtimers.

Well there was plenty of lift today despite it being generally SW. Wind streaks SW Cloud shadows SW Good cloud giving lift frorm S even the Tandems worked it. 5 times down and back to Lulworth.

A good day for Eype lots of Wessex Members enjoyed the air, bit too much west to get very far.
Good to see so many in the air.

4 days in a row, just like the old days! Speaking of times past Peter Robinson showed up today at the Office And having give-up Paragliding 10 years ago took up the offer of a Tandem for the first time in 80 years.
Others enjoyed the 2 Tandems working today. I counted 20 wings and people were still arriving as I left at 1800hrs A good day.

Another slow start to the day whilst watching height gains at the Horse.
Proved to be worthwhile with the Coast Run enjoyed by many.

A slow start whilst watching others at the Horse gain height.
Several Pilots enjoying the cliffs and a partial coast run. Very buoyant conditions.

Well as I am restricted it just had to be the "Office".
So with new wings and various Pilots swapping wings it was a job to tell who was flying what except if you a close shot.
At least there were some happy Pilots
