Report from Ringstead

Oh , I do like to be beside the seaside and all that. A good day for the Coast Run.
The Ranges were 'Inactive' so we could go beyond Lulworth. At first it was a tad turbulent on the ridge, Landed make some adjustments and then off we went and joined by the happy throng. I crossed Lulworth without any problem pursued by Steve and Derek with Alex overtaking on his 2 liner. Made the transition between Worbarrow Tout and Gad Cliff over to the back ridge and on to Smedmore Hill It was a little lumpy to say the least. I ventured as far as I dare but decided to get back to Gad Cliff , not much in the way of lift and Kimmeridge Car Park Bay looked the best option for a safe landing. Patiently waited for a lift back to Ringers which was blowing 25mph.

Report from White Horse

Beautiful cloud over Weymouth Bay.A difficult day for some, and several staying up in the thermals. 3 Kites (birds) showed the way for intrepid John S.
Decided to follow Angus to bottom land and found a lonesome thermal to take up and land in the bowl where I met Skip and a lift home.

Another cracking day at the "Office" good fun was had by all. 3 Tandem Pilots working their socks off, with passengers whooping and screaming with delight. Lots of Pilots and members of the public showing their appreciation.

Report from Jurassic Coast

Well Ringstead didn't look to good from the forecast so we opted for flying from Eype.
Quite West to begin a slow trip to Thorncombe Beacon not much lift an a bun fight with 4 of us.
So back to T.O. for lunch, just at the wrong moment as it started to come more SW and good height on the Beacon.
Got into conversation with some visiting Pilots who had not been before . Then off to Charmouth with plenty of lift all the way.
Congrats to Jamie B, for his first time at Golden Cap and then on to Charmouth, well done.
Gradually it increased to the point where everyone landed at Eypenoyth on the beach.

Report from White Horse

A great day at the Horse, started with broken edged thermals with no great height. It got better and more consistent alllowing climbs to over 1000' ato. After 3 hrs it went very E, but everyone enjoyed themselves.

Report from White Horse

What a day for a change. After careful consideration I chose the long walk along the track.
I felt rewarded when I saw one wing maintaining, and it was off into thermal heaven, although the inversion only permitted a leisurely climb to 1500' above take off. The day just got better with several Pilots at height but max was 1700' above take off helped by the farmer gathering silage. A good day was had by all.

Report from the Jurassic Coast

Always grateful for a lift, Steve ferried me to Cogden Beach where we met up with a couple of others.
A bit of a wait for an hours flying. Debating about the short shower and the dark clouds heading for the Beacon.
So we flew to Eype some very low but all ended well.

Report from White Horse

A short sojourn at the coast for an hour home for lunch and then off to the Horse.
Very odd conditions, wind was gusty because of the thermals which were broken.
Still no complaints as airtime is airtime as long as your still standing at the end of the day.

Report from White Horse

A difficult few weeks with needing to be in the right place. Alan & Tom got it right at Okeford yesterday making Weymouth, Father & Son on XC together.
Today we were hopeful but more bits and pieces at Weymouth and Whitehorse for thermic cycles all good fun
