Report from Furzy Cliff

A fun day at the coast, all afternoon just playing about, at one stage it got really good.
Lots of locals turned up and the holiday makers enjoyed the spectacle.

Report from White Horse

As we approached saw James doing well. Got to T.O. and it was touch and go. Curtis arrived and did well. Elvijs did good.
A big black cloud was coming from over the back and the warning signs were there. Everyone landed and it took a good three quarters of an hour to clear and for the sun to shine.
Then it was thermic cycles only, they were still flying when left.

A late afternoon delight at Bell with some evening restitution. Some actually went over the back.
Others enjoyed a boat about.

Report on Ringstead Coast Run

Surprised or what? 2 Sites in a day, 2 Coast Runs great day. We arrived at Ringers with several already on the cliffs.
Launched and decided it was good enough to round the corner, only Lulworth for most with one making Worbarrow.
A great day.

Report from Jurassic Coast

Well, the runes were read and we opted for a beach T.O. A group photo and 16 mph.
Got ready and wind dropped to 6mph.Alack , alas, a short wait and it was off. Crossed all the gaps , no problem.
Built height at Golden Cap some joined from Eype and some came very low round G.C. but they made it. Onwards to Charmouth and beyond A fabulous few hours and back to the beach and off to Ringers.

Report from Jurassic Coast

A quiet start so walked fifty yards , wind was sufficient to cross Hive. As the wind steadily increased it was easy to cross Freshwater and West Bay. Built height at Thorncombe Beacon and on to Golden Cap. Then an easy run to Charmouth crossed the river towards Spittles, but saw 3 gliders just with enough height. So turned and went back to Golden Cap the wind was increasing so headed for West Bay where there were whitecaps and no-one at Eype. Answered the phone to Steve who had made it just shy of Abbottsbury (Hurrah) asking for a lift.
So landed at Cogden and packed only to be told Rene was heading his way. Oh well! Derek landed just east of Swyre, Sean and Tony landed just shy of Portesham for a great flight.

Report from Ringstead

Well the forecast got it completely wrong. It was one for the cliffs beach landed , then another beach landed, and another bottom landed. One managed to stay up for a while having seen the others go down. As I retrieved from the beach one managed to get to the cliffs for a short while and he top landed .

Report from White Horse

An up & down sort of day. The thermals did not allow a lot of height gain but a pleasant enough time was had by all.

Report from White Horse

A good day at the Horse bit rock and roll to start but it eventually smoothed out.
Several Red Ribbons getting the hours in, frustrating for some trying to thermal. Its all an experience.

Report from Jurassic Coast

A beautiful clear day wit a strengthening breeze , in the end too strong to cross West Bay where 3 Pilots landed.
The retrieve back earned an ice cream courtesy of Curtis B. And thanks to Steve for collecting them as well as one who landed at the bottom of Golden Cap.
