Report from White Horse

   
An early start at the Horse to get a flight in on the last day of the month.
It was due to pick up throughout the morning which it did. It was surprisingly thermic And a goodly number of Pilots enjoyed themselves especially the red ribbons and Lats.

Report from the Jurassic Coast

   
A journey westwards to enjoy the delights of Coastal Cliff soaring, Quite technical with the wind starting off light and you had to have your wits about you.
Keeping in close on occasion and voices coming through on Comms to say I "I haven't got enough height to make it".No problem we all got across the gaps.
A good run down to Charmouth. Spotted a wing landing at Lyme Regis which had come from Beer Head. A lovely day with thermals on Thorncombe Beacon & Golden Cap.

Report from Ringstead

   
I meandered up to Ringers, no one else there? It was definitely flyable so I launched and enjoyed a straight run to the cliffs where I spent the next hour on my own. I put in messages and made some calls eventually joined by others, landed for a swift lunch and airborne again. Practising little winglets and a gentle spiral and big ears, eventually landed and packed up at 1545hrs, Helped a newcomer launch and then home.

Some of us headed west, arrived at T.O. and already blowing at 16mph. Lots of orographic coming and going.
Some cautious flying and Pilot awareness.

Report from SE Wales (Pandy)

  
     
A Posse of 8 Wessex Members headed to Pandy. It was a chance that paid off. It was not an epic day some thermals to play around and around in and some scratching. Nonetheless a worthwhile trip for those that made the effort and the long hard walk up in hot conditions.It was lovely to see so many Red Kites.

What a day at the seaside, no ice creams though. A good time had by all limited numbers at Eype as we flew over? @ x down to Charmouth with only Sean S venturing over the river. Big up for Kevin K on his first full run.
