Report from the Jurassic Coast
Luckily I had a lift to further West, Eype a Condors Site. On arrival you could see the wind line on the sea A quick cuppa and it was time to Take Off but the wind was very WSW. I messed about in the bowl to gain some height had to re-attach my L/H brummel, (drat its always coming adrift) will get a cover for it. Anyway made my way to Thorncombe Beacon and was rewarded with some sea thermals and on to Doghouse more thermals. Watched a couple going for Golden Cap and failing so decided to be patient. One landed below Doghouse and one at bottom of Golden Cap. Just hung about till someone made it and then ventured forth watched a Pilot hit rotor on the east side of GC but he dealt with it admirably. I turned back and built a little more height and took a different line and was rewarded onwards to Charmouth where two had already made it, one coming back to GC. It was darned cold but I managed to get a couple of photos and a bite of my cheese and onion sandwich. Then it was back to West Bay and then Eype to land for a hot cuppa.
A mixture of Pilots Wessex and Condors, but some showing poor airmanship.
