Enjoyed the company of 1 hg who was just carving it up, spotted him way past Abbotsbury.
Several Pilots tried to cross to Golden Cap but missed the opportunity.

One brave soul went for it and returned saying poor visibility on the cliffs. A few more went then when 2 came back it was my turn.
It was very lifty and I made it without any hassle only to see 2 disappear in the clag, so I stayed in front of the clag only to be confronted by a wing whizzing past from out of nowhere. So I calmly stayed further out and had a pleasant time playing around however, the strain on the old eyes had me back to T.O.

On arrival 2 wings were in the air but you could see it was SE at best, However, once in the air it was buoyant with plenty of thermals but they were quite difficult to manage.
Several Pilots enjoyed the opportunity of almost an hour airtime.

It has been a long wait for the runes to bide right. Jules P and Jack F enjoyed their Maiden Flight and coped well with a difficult launch. 6 Pilot Rated Pilots enjoyed the conditions and were still talking about the delights well into the late afternoon, All enjoyed a rendezvous and coffees at the Heights.
